This fully restored and modified 1969 Chevrolet C10 pickup coming to one soon Mecum Auction under the hammer. The targeted price of around 100.000 dollars is of course a real announcement for a pickup that already has half a century under its belt. The vehicle belongs to the former C/K model series and it is a C10 the second generation, some of which are also called action line are known. Even if he still looks the same at first glance as he did back then, he has changed significantly. It is painted in a plain white and dark contrasts are almost completely avoided. The vehicle is the result of a complete restoration that was completed just 900 miles (1.448 km) ago. In principle, there were no major changes to the body, although it can of course be seen that unnecessary ornamentation has been removed. Incidentally, the rims mentioned are 22-inch specimens that are covered with Nitto tires. State-of-the-art Morimoto LED headlights are also located in the aforementioned front grille and something has clearly changed on the chassis.

Aldan American coilovers

The C10 got a modified suspension, front and rear in the form of an Aldan American coilover forces the pickup a good distance towards the road. And of course we have to mention the engine as well. Under the hood sits a mighty one 5,7 liter LS6-V8, whose exact key data are unfortunately not known. It comes to life at the push of a button and is linked to an automatic transmission. In addition, the power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a Currie Ford 9-inch rear axle. Incidentally, the load is slowed down with one Wilwood sports braking system.

also the cabin has changed

And of course the cabin has also changed. You can see an interior with lots of black leather and suede, for example on the seats and the door panels, which is contrasted with white stitching. The dashboard is also black and modern Dakota digital displays are also integrated. And also included is a Bluetooth sound system with Alpine amplifier, JL Audio subwoofer and Focal speakers. Visually, everything has been integrated very discreetly in a retro look. It will be interesting to see if the 1969 Chevrolet C10 sold for the desired amount.
