Slammed Chevrolet C10 pickup as exclusive restomod!

A 1967 Chevrolet C10 Restomod, which we really want to show you, is currently being auctioned by Barrett-Jackson in an autumn auction from October 22nd to 24th. In the USA, the C10 is one of the most famous pickups and has been a favorite in the tuning scene for a long time. And this copy has also been extensively modified. Under the mighty two-part bonnet with power dome there is a special 6,7-liter big-block V8 with fuel injection about its power and torque, but unfortunately no information was given by Barrett-Jackson. But at least it is known that the V8 was coupled to a four-speed automatic. It distributes the power to the rear axle completely without traction control. So the Chevy should be predestined for successful drifts out of the curve. At least when you have learned to deal with the relatively light rear and the thick V8 on the front axle.

But the completely restored and rebuilt pickup has not only received a new engine and a new transmission. For example, the entire chassis is specially made for this vehicle and the uniqueness is further emphasized with modern amenities such as rack and pinion steering, an adjustable sports chassis or an aluminum wheel set. All unnecessary attachments such as protective strips and drainage channels on the body have been removed, which also applies to the door handles. Then the shell of the C10 was painted in two colors and of course the cabin has been completely redesigned. Based on the two-tone paintwork of the body, the interior is also presented in black and cream. Every little detail was lined with leather and a JBL sound system was installed, there was a specially made center console with additional instruments and the perfectly integrated displays for speed, tachometer and Co. are components from the present.

And there is a special highlight under the load compartment cover of the C10, which is completely painted in body color. If this is raised, a fully lined loading area is revealed with a dark carpet, speakers, struts and leather accents. This shows that the C10 is definitely no longer a workhorse, but is more at home on the boulevard. The unique piece is impressively rounded off with countless small details such as the remote-controlled unlocking of the doors or the small exterior mirrors from a 1966 Chevelle to the Airride air suspension. If we get more information about the changes to the Chevrolet C10 pickup, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed of this if you simply do ours Feed subscribe to.
