Huge! Chevrolet C40 Pickup as Restomod on 40 inchers!

In the showroom of Barrett-Jackson from Arizona there is once again an absolute highlight. A completely restored and rebuilt Chevrolet C40 Pickup-Turck from 1969. And of course we wouldn't tell you that if the classic hadn't received an extensive tuning program. And the numerous changes ensure that the C40 with the chassis number CS439P813147 is the ultimate Restomod-Construction mutated. The C40 has been completely immersed in a high-gloss black and also has silver-painted details on the body (Front apron, rear apron, frame of the radiator grille, surround of the main headlights, etc.) and a decorative stripe at the waistline. The large Chevrolet lettering on the rear is also set off in silver and silver accents have also been taken into account on the huge 24 × 12 inch beadlock rims.

The wheel set is equipped with 40 × 15.5 AMP off-road tires, which of course only fit in the wheel arches due to a huge lift and the fender flares built into the body. A specially made chassis is used, which, in combination with a Dana 44 front axle differential and a G80 limited-slip differential, ensures tireless propulsion off paved slopes. Of course, this would not be possible without a species-appropriate engine. A 6,0-liter LS-V8 engine is therefore installed under the long hood and even has a Vortec Air-Intake as the icing on the cake. The powerful engine is coupled to a 4L80 automatic transmission. With countless technical changes such as state-of-the-art power steering, a sports brake system with disc brakes at the front and rear and two electric sunroofs, just a few other modifications are mentioned.

Space for a maximum of 6 people

And the cabin has also changed extremely extensively. Here, based on the look on the outside, they tried to keep everything as good as possible with the original look from back then. The custom-made interior offers space for a maximum of 6 people and convinces with a new leather interior in black. There is also a GM retro sound system. classic Chevy displays and even a fully functional air conditioning system as well as invisibly installed USB charging options are included. The extremely successful cabin of the C40 is impressively rounded off with a beautiful, high-gloss black painted dashboard and countless chrome applications on the steering wheel, gear lever, instrument cluster, window cranks, interior mirrors and chrome-plated door pins.
