Contest: 2020 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 & 1969 Camaro!

Even without an increase in performance, the current Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is an impressive machine. After all, a 650-hp supercharged V8 is already working under the hood from the factory, but as always that is not enough for the Lingenfelter Performance Engineering team. Because they are now presenting a whole range of performance-enhancing components on a model year 2020 to further optimize the output of the engine. And currently, such a vehicle can even be won with an upgrade from Lingenfelter. The proceeds from the so-called Dream giveaway competition goes to the New Beginning Children's Homes which act as a non-profit organization for abused and neglected children between the ages of 5 and 17 to create a safe environment in which to live.

Contest: 2020 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 & 1969 Camaro!

The 2020 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 has received a 720 hp package that increases the power of the 6,2 liter V8 LT4 engine by a whopping 70 hp. Further changes come from Anderson Composites and American Car Craft in the form of various full carbon aero components and the fenders and bonnet are now made of light carbon fiber. Even the cover for the engine is made of ultra-light carbon and is even equipped with LED lighting. In addition, the vehicle has some options ex works worth a good $ 9000. For example, the so-called ZL1 1LE Extreme Track Performance Package and the Performance Data and Video Logger for later analysis of the lap time. And the winner of the campaign even received a converted Chevrolet Camaro from 1969.

the winner receives 2 vehicles

This vehicle is completely restored and rebuilt and equipped with a 500 HP LS1 small block under the hood. The engine has built late model Racecraft Performance Series components and further changes are a Tremec 6-speed gearbox, a Flowmaster sports exhaust system, 18 inch HRE rims and other components that make the 69 Camaro a real restomod. In other words, from one day to the next you have two bespoke Camaros from then and now in the garage. Cool thing!
