In the form of this 2019 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1. It has a powerful 6,2-liter V8 supercharger under the hood, which already delivers 766 hp and 969 Nm of torque in the standard version.

Equipped like this, you can circle the Nürburgring in less than seven minutes. With the exception of a Shelby GT500 or a tuned 911 Turbo S, there are actually no opponents worth mentioning. And if it does, then you just have to reach for this pitch-black example. The team of Chicago Motor Cars sells the speedster with Jet Black paintwork and points out that the ZTK Track Performance Package is also included. But the absolute element of surprise is under the hood. Because after several upgrades, the LT5 V8 now delivers up to 859 hp on the "wheel", with 93 octane petrol and with E85 fuel it is even a whopping 1.030 horsepower.

No wonder the sales ad called the Vette a "track and street monster". And we think horsepower is like money in the bank. You don't always need them all, but it's good to know they're there. The ZR1's performance is matched by an eight-speed automatic transmission, a mileage of just 7.378 miles (11.873 km), but unfortunately also a price tag of just under $200.000.
