A Chevrolet Malibu XL is largely unknown in this country. It is the latest generation of the Malibu, which in China has the additional designation XL, as its predecessor, which bears the model name Malibu Classic, is also available there. Contrary to the assumption, the Malibu XL is not stretched, but just as long as the current US version of the middle grader. In the Middle Kingdom, limousines are known to be extremely popular, which is why the tuning scene of iAcro dedicates more and more to the model.

We are now introducing you to a tuned copy of the scene from China, which will certainly make the hearts of many car fans in this country beat faster, because this model, which with the help of a Airride chassis is so low that it feels as if it touches the road, it also has a carbon spoiler lip with side flaps on the front and eye-catching LED indicators with a three-strip look. The LED flashing lights also seem to be a trend in China since we've been Geely- and Lynk & Co. -Vehicle with this tuning. The exterior mirrors are also new and look sporty, as the housings are very narrow, and it almost gives the impression that the tuner has installed small digital cameras instead of mirrors. And there seems to be several sets of rims for the vehicle, and a very special set are the SSR Executor EX01-Alus in 19-inch format, which in our opinion go perfectly with the Chevy.

typical CDM scene tuning

The red Demon-Eyes headlights look really bad, which would definitely be banned in Germany, but would have deserved the name Redeye more, than the corresponding Dodge model. But even when the vehicle is stationary and the lights are switched off, the almost black-tinted headlights are an absolute eye-catcher that goes perfectly with the sunflower-yellow foil. Modifications were also made to the rear, and a rump spoiler was introduced, which is almost standard CDM scene has become. The absolute highlight of the car, however, is the sound system with 1200 watts of power and 6 tweeters as well as a large subwoofer in the trunk lid. This turns not only the Malibu but also every other car into a rolling disco, and it would certainly be interesting to know how strongly the bass makes the tin vibrate when you turn the system up to the maximum. So you can see more and more clearly that CDM tuning is constantly evolving, and that more and more blatant and daring modifications are being made to cars in the iAcro scene.

The engine power was not changed.

It's hard to believe, but under the hood of the rolling bass box only a 1,5-liter four-cylinder turbo gasoline engine with 170 hp works. This little motor generates a maximum torque of 252 Newton meters, which means that the 4,93 m long Malibu XL accelerates from zero to 9,1 km / h in 100 seconds and runs over 200 kilometers per hour. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via a seven-speed dual clutch transmission. But you don't want to race with the show car either, which is why the engine is probably sufficient, because you want to present the various modifications to your fellow men.

Our conclusion on the Chevy Malibu XL!

This spectacular Chevy Malibu XL shows once again the ambition and commitment of the Chinese tuner scene. If you, too, have gotten the taste for the Chevy as a project car, then you have to (or not) have to resort to the US version, which is completely identical, but electronically limited to 180 km / h. For all tuning fans who don't want to take on the effort, we have a large picture gallery ready. If we receive information on further changes to the Chevy in a timely manner, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed of this if you simply our Feed subscribe to.
