SEMA 2018: Chevrolet Colorado from Gentex Corporation

The Michigan-based team at Gentex Corporation (manufactures fire protection equipment, auto-dimming rearview mirrors, etc.) has set up a SEMA show vehicle. The basis is the Chevrolet Colorado Crew-Cab, which has clearly received a complete wrapping. There is even a refrigerator / freezer, a pull-out stove, a sink, a remote-controlled roof tent, an integrated barrel that is built into a Yeti jockey box and lots of other small details. The Chevy was placed on black Rhino Arsenal alloy wheels with 35-inch Nitto Ridge Grappler off-road tires and the Fox chassis was given a huge lift. The 3,6-liter V6 engine got an S&B cold-air intake, an MBRP sports exhaust system and individual chip tuning (Trifecta Performance Advantage Digital Powertrain) lost.

Addictive Desert Designs HoneyBadger® bumpers and also new side skirts, an Active Cargo System from Leitner Designs and a DECKED Truck-Bed storage box were built in front and rear. And of course Gentex is also immortalized with automatically dimming exterior mirrors, a high-end reversing camera or a Gentex HomeLink control for the solar-powered roof tent on the Chevy. If we receive more information about the Gentex Chevy in a timely manner, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed about this if you simply use ours Feed subscribe to. About Thomas Wachsmuth

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
