Already in the year 2012 (December) the top model of the VW Polo of the 6er series was presented. It is the extremely potent VW Polo 6R WRC 2.0 TFSI with rich 220 PS and 350 NM torque. Thus, the production version is already able to fly to 6,4km / h in only 100 seconds and only with a top speed of 243km / h the propulsion is put an end. Please note that you do not sit in any Porsche Boxster but in a VW Polo! Exclusive is the fact that the road version of the rally car is limited to 2500 copies, it is even more exclusive if you once again put his hand to the 2,0-liter TSI gasoline engine. That's exactly what the guys from Shiftech Lyon have done and screwed on the performance of the Wolfsburgers.

The result of the whole thing is a crazy 360 PS and 525 NM torque, and here, too, you simply have to point out again that it is a VW Polo. With more power than a BMW M3 E46 CSL, for example, the little Polo should have almost no opponents. Incidentally, the tuner achieved the increase in performance by means of chip tuning, a larger intercooler, a K&N sports air filter, a changed intake and other changes such as a 76 mm exhaust system that also likes to spit out one or the other little flame. As already mentioned above, Shiftech Lyon again had a VW Polo 6R WRC 2.0 TSI, with original 220 PS & 350 NM torque, on site and an increase in performance was announced. This time, among other things, a complete Bastuck stainless steel sports exhaust system was installed which contains 200 cell sports catalysts. In addition, there was a sports air filter from BMC and the result this time is 322 PS & 476 NM torque. This should also make this Polo a serious opponent for significantly sportier vehicles.
