The mcchip-dkr GmbH & Co. KG from Mechernich has recently buttoned up the Aston Martin Vantage V8 (2018). The Vantage equipped with the 4.0 liter V8 biturbo engine from AMG already produces an impressive 510 hp and 685 Nm of torque ex works. But mcchip-dkr brings the sporty British to almost 700 hp and over 800 Newton meters of torque on request. Specifically, this vehicle has 695 PS and 822 NM which means an increase in performance of a huge 185 PS & 137 NM. In order to achieve the significant increase in performance, however, more than just new software for the engine control unit is required.
3 power levels available
Chiptuning is joined by new Downpipes with Sportkats, the factory turbochargers have been extensively revised and the sound of a complete Capristo sports exhaust system sounds at the rear. Alternatively you reach only with the Downpipes including Sportkat and the mcchip-dkr chip tuning, as Stage 2, still a power gain of 100 PS and 115 Nm torque. The simplest variant as Stage 1 is a pure chip tuning that allows an extra power of 80 PS and 75 Nm. If we receive timely information on further changes, there is of course an update for this report.
