In the middle of September of last year, Shiftech showed us impressively what the little one did Audi A1 S1 is capable. A whopping 311PS & 492NM work on request with a few changes under the small Ingolstadt bonnet. But not just the big one CWZA - 2.0 TFSI four-cylinder can be persuaded to more power, even the 1,2l CBZA from the 1.2 TFSI is able to do much more if you only want. Shiftech had just such an A1, with standard 86 PS & 160 NM torque, on site and achieved a jump in performance to a significant 131 PS & 218 NM torque exclusively by means of chip tuning. The software alone makes it possible to skip the old and also the new 1.4 TFSI and suddenly reach the 1.4 TFSI COD level. While the production version needs just under 12 seconds to accelerate to 100 km / h, it should now be possible to complete the sprint in about 8,5 seconds. The top speed should also increase from 180 to over 200 km / h. Due to the significantly higher torque, consumption savings are also possible with the same driving style and this proves once again how chip tuning can be used sensibly and effectively.
