First laughed, then copied: It took time, but now Audi has also launched an SUV coupe on the market! The Q8! At least 76.000 Euro expensive and unlike the competition with much less steeply sloping roofline. This creates more space in the rear and the trunk and looks good. Highlights such as the extremely slim headlamps with standard LED technology, the continuous light strip at the rear or the upper-class cockpit with two large touchscreens in the center console are just as much a part of the delivery as lush 2.145 kg empty weight.
So the 286 PS & 600 NM strong three-liter V6 diesel with 8-speed automatic of the Q8 50 TDI has a lot of trouble. Reason enough for DTE Systems to use the existing PowerControl RX performance upgrade from the Audi A8 D5 (50 - 3.0 TDI, also has the VW EA897evo2 V6 diesel) for the Q8 (internal type designation 4M) to match. Significant 36 PS and 69 Nm more bring the Q8 after installation of the module almost in the vicinity of the 55 (3.0) TFSI gasoline engine and provide improved acceleration values. Again, the PowerControl app for the smartphone is included free of charge. Optionally, the Ingolstadt can still be equipped with the well-known PedalBox and thus record an optimized throttle response.
