With the Maserati Levante, the Italian sports car manufacturer dares to venture into the hotly contested area of SUVs for the first time in its history! The world premiere of the Levante took place in March 2016 at the Geneva Motor Show and the first vehicles have been delivered since spring 2016. Two petrol engines up to 430PS and one diesel are initially available as engines. The diesel variant comes from the factory with 275 PS & 600 NM torque, so the engine, which is manufactured by VM Motori, can do a lot more on request. The Luxembourg tuner ShifTech had a brand new Levante suburb and was one of the first tuners to perform chip tuning on the Italian SUV. Apart from the software change, the Levante 3.0 D did not miss any further changes but that is enough to be on the road with a full 332 PS & 676 NM torque from now on. A significant leap in terms of performance and next to that Loder1899 Levante now the second modified vehicle. If we get more information about the modifications to the Levante from Shiftech, there is of course, as always, an update for this report.
