There are three new light-alloy wheels for the 35-series models: the 18-inch wheel in a ten-spoke design in black with a high-sheen surface comes as standard. Two 19-inch wheels in a five-twin-spoke design in matt black with a high-sheen surface or in matt black with a high-sheen rim flange are optionally available. A new 45-inch wheel is standard for the two 19 S top versions, in a five-twin-spoke design in matt black with a high-sheen surface. Another new 19-inch wheel in a five-twin-spoke design in matt black with a high-sheen rim flange is available as an option.

Fresh colors for the seat covers

In the interior, those interested can discover new upholstery covers for the standard sports seats or the optional AMG performance seats. The combination of ARTICO man-made leather with MICROCUT microfibre can also be ordered in Bahia brown. Sagegrey/black is the new color for ARTICO man-made leather. And red pepper/black is available for the leather seat covers for the first time. Open-pored lime wood in brown complements the optional selection for the decorative elements.

As standard, the Mercedes-AMG CLA Models the new AMG Performance steering wheel with double-spoke design and seamlessly integrated buttons. The AMG steering wheel buttons impress with brilliant displays and intuitive operating logic. Important driving functions and all driving programs can be controlled via this without taking your hands off the steering wheel. The new Mercedes-AMG CLA models also benefit from the latest MBUX generation: More performance and the AMG-specific screen design make the brand experience tangible.

35 models technically upgraded

The 35 models are equipped with a 48-volt electrical system and the belt-driven starter generator (BSG). The second-generation RSG acts as a mild hybrid, which, in addition to the temporary power boost of 10 kW (14 hp), also enables functions such as coasting and recuperation for more efficiency. The 48-volt technology also increases comfort, since the transitions between the start-stop and coasting functions are almost imperceptible.

The powerful and agile 2,0-liter four-cylinder turbo engine delivers 225 kW (306 hp), which is variably distributed to all four wheels via the AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 8G transmission and the AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel drive. The 35 models enable a very sporty driving experience (acceleration 0-100 km/h in 4,9 seconds), but are also comfortable on long journeys. The new front cooler improves temperature management at the limit.

AMG Street Style Edition for the 45 models

For CLA 45 S 4MATIC+ Coupé and Shooting Brake there is a time-limited special model: the AMG Street Style +Edition. With the paintwork in MANUFAKTUR mountain gray magno and the side foiling with AMG logo and AMG pattern in checkered flag design, it emphasizes the sporty appearance. This also applies to the color accents in bright orange. The Edition rolls on 19-inch AMG five-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels in matt black with a high-sheen rim flange. As an option, customers can order the Street Style Edition with 19-inch AMG cross-spoke forged wheels, painted matt black and with a high-sheen rim flange. The red painted brake calipers form an attractive contrast to both wheels. Other exterior elements include the AMG aerodynamic package, the AMG Night package I and II and the AMG fuel filler cap.

The interior of the AMG Street Style Edition is also unmistakably designed: the AMG Performance seat in black MICROCUT microfibre is adorned with seams and highlights in bright orange. The “CLA 45 S” label, also orange, repeats the type emblem in the interior. The AMG Performance steering wheel in leather/MICROCUT microfibre and the AMG trim elements in aluminum with the same pattern as the exterior foil set further accents in the interior. The attention to detail is also evident in the instrument panel with contrasting topstitching in orange and in the AMG door sill panels with "AMG" lettering, black interchangeable cover and Edition-specific lighting in red. AMG floor mats with "Street Style Edition" lettering and topstitching in orange close the high-quality interior design.

With an output of 310 kW (421 hp), the Coupé and Shooting Brake are powerfully motorized. The compact sports car does the sprint from a standing start to 100 km/h in 4,1 seconds. The top speed is limited to 270 km/h. In addition to the pure performance figures, the AMG 2,0-liter turbo engine impresses with its spontaneous response. The fully variable all-wheel drive with AMG TORQUE CONTROL makes a significant contribution to the dynamic driving experience. The rear axle differential contains two electronically controlled multi-plate clutches, each of which is connected to a drive shaft on the rear axle. In this way, the drive power can not only be variably distributed between the front and rear axles, but also between the left and right rear wheels.
