"Dapper Grinch" - Clinched Widebody Ford Mustang GT!

"Dapper Grinch" - Clinched Widebody Ford Mustang GT!

The converted vehicles with clinched fender flares are not that new. We have seen them often on the Ford Mustang and Dodge Challenger. But this example is unique. The vehicle would probably have been the highlight of the SEMA Auto Show in 2017. There Clinched presented the new extensions on a Ford Mustang GT for the first time. But they were made differently. Back then, exposed fittings in the style of Rocket Bunny and Liberty Walk could be seen. But this vehicle has a Clinched widebody kit integrated into the body. While the clinched attachments are normally always attached to the Mustang with exposed screw connections, this is done differently on this vehicle, which is called the "Dapper Grinch". There are no troublesome screw connections here, everything looks like it is cast from a single source. Just a lot wider than the series.

The vehicle originally comes from Las Vegas and is a project from the tuner based there Dapper autosports. And the S550 somehow looks like NFS Heat has become real. It appears to be a pre-facelift model that many think looks better in terms of the headlights. And they are not entirely wrong! There was the crazy widebody package on the Mustang with massive fenders all around and a mighty apron with spoiler in Cobra Jet style is installed on the front. So the Mustang could also function as a snow plow. Of course, a set of solid rims could not be missing (possibly WCW Wheels) with Toyo-Tires tires that sit in front of a powerful Brembo brake system. And thanks to the AirLift performance control and Accuair Airride air suspension, the wheel set sits in the wheel arch with millimeter precision. At the rear there was an aggressive diffuser from Clinched, plus a rear spoiler and a lamellar-style cover for the rear window. We don't know why the metallic green foil was chosen, but it doesn't look bad.

Sports exhaust system and engine tuning?

The entire vehicle is wrapped in this way and the changes are essentially rounded off with the film on the outside. Incidentally, something also seems to have happened under the hood. More information is missing at the moment. Unfortunately, we are also currently not aware of anything about the built-in sports exhaust system or changes in the cabin. If we get more information about the changes, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed of this if you simply use ours Feed subscribe to. Have fun watching the pictures and stay true to us!
