Already in January we showed you how a tuned 997 Porsche 911 GT3 RS from the tuner SharkWerks runs up the mountain. Now a good 3 months later, the tuning company COBB Tuning also shows what you can get out of the GT3 RS and optimizes the 4,0 liter engine using engine software and other modifications in such a way that it gives the green monster 450hp on the wheel and makes for happy faces. The tuning team around COBB tuning has on this Porsche RS 997,1 GT3 made the following changes:

  • specially made 4.0L engine
  • more than 450 PS on the bike
  • Modification of the engine management software
  • Coordinated by COBB Tuning with in-house Porsche calibrator

If we have forgotten something you notice, then just tell us in the comment box. Should we also learn in the near future, new details about this tuning conversion, we will inform you of course in this post.

About Thomas Wachsmuth

Thomas Wachsmuth - He has been an integral part of tuningblog.eu since 2013. His passion for cars is so intense that he invests every available penny in them. While he dreams of a BMW E31 850CSI and a Hennessey 6x6 Ford F-150, he currently drives a rather inconspicuous BMW 540i (G31/LCI). His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
