The BMW boys may not have invented the mixture of a large sedan with a coupé-like appearance, but with the 6 Series Grand Coupé they have staged it with great skill: So flat, so wide and so determined that there is hardly any room for improvement. The suspension specialists at H&R have now developed coil springs for the Bayern-Beau for less air downwards. The original BMW dampers remain in service, and the electronically controlled variant also works without restrictions. Nevertheless, the vehicle height can now be continuously adjusted, with sufficient remaining spring travel for near-series driving comfort. On the front axle, the lowering is between 30 to 45 millimeters, at the rear 25 to 40mm can be implemented.

Visually, the Grand Coupé wins thanks to the perfect position of the wheels in the wheel arches. From a technical point of view, the vehicle's center of gravity moves downwards. The lower tendency of the body to roll and a more direct steering behavior ensure even more driving pleasure. Further refinement is promised by "TRAK +" - wheel spacers for aligning retrofit and series wheels with millimeter precision on the wheel arch edges. All H&R components are 100% Made in Germany and of course have the necessary parts certificate. H&R coil springs are only available through selected H&R sales partners.

His collection of books, magazines and brochures on the subject of car tuning has now reached such proportions that he himself has become a walking reference work for the tuning scene.  More about Thomas
