The emperor's new clothes: H&R coil springs for the BMW M3 Touring!

Fathers of families, traveling salesmen and pragmatists: how long did you have to wait before the saints from Bavaria understood? It took 37 years to be exact! Back when the first M3 saw the light of day at the 1985 IAA, the combination of a compact sedan with a lot of power was a sensation. Which, like many models, has lost none of its fascination over the years. A coupé was added later and now, finally, the Touring. It goes without saying that the engineers in the H&R development department were also hooked and are already presenting a set of coilover springs, months before the first vehicle deliveries in Germany, that M GmbH has neither money nor good words up its sleeve.

While retaining the adaptive original shock absorbers, the vehicle height on the front axle can be freely adjusted between 25 and 35 millimeters, at the rear the lowering varies between 0 and 15 millimeters. This ensures even more direct steering behavior, and the lateral inclination of the body in fast corners is reduced. Last but not least, the forced look of the lowered vehicle center of gravity also underlines the idea of the perfect high-performance machine. For the sake of good order, it should also be mentioned that the payload remains at the standard level - the basic touring idea is therefore satisfied! As usual with H&R, all products are supplied with the required parts certificate and are Made in Germany!
