From the US tuner Singer Vehicle Design comes this 1991 Porsche 911 of the model generation 964 with a 60s look. Singer manufactured the vehicle in the period from 2016 to 2017 under the project name "The Colorado Springs Commission“And as always the result is an enviable one-off piece in typical Singer perfection. Essentially, it's a Singer 964 with the look of 1960s vehicles. The difference to the classics of bygone days becomes apparent when looking at the ultra-modern clear glass lights or the wide-flared turbo-style wheel arches. That was definitely not the case at the time! The rims in the look of the classic Fuchsfelgen from Meinerzhagen, however.

And a clear difference compared to the vehicles from back then is the built-in engine. "The Colorado Springs Commission" is powered by a 4-liter six-cylinder boxer engine with approx. 500 hp that virtually doubles the output of the standard 250 hp 3,6-liter boxer. Singer installs the engine, however only according to the wishes of the future owner. The original engine can be completely removed, refurbished or tuned. However, the majority of the wealthy customers opt for the 4-liter engine mentioned. In addition to the clean body, the current specimen impresses with the small gold ones Singer badges still with the classic Targa bracket and through the curved rear window. But at Singer the bracket mentioned has not just remained matt black, but has a high-quality stainless steel look. So as Porsche recently did on 991 Targa has taken up.
