This Bentley Continental GT V8 Cabriolet is something very special. Developed in collaboration with the Chesire East Council for the north west of England, a custom-made convertible was created that featured Bentley's first rainbow theme for this series. In principle, and not for the first time. Because the Bentley Mulliner Bacalar Roadster was already spotted in a rainbow dress in May this year. The vehicle was designed by a lady named Eleanor when she was only 5 years old and has attracted a lot of attention. Reason enough to turn a Continental GT Cabrio into reality with the cheerful color dress. The GT did not get the 12 colors of the Bacalar, but at least 6 colors on the body. These come directly from the Bentley color palette and are of course inspired by the colorful Bacalar.

They reflect the colors and transitions of a real rainbow and are called Dragon red, Orange Flame, Yellow Flame, Applegreen, Sequin Blue and Azure Purple. According to Bentley, "the car will be featured during the online pride event that can be seen anywhere in the world.“And it's not the first time an automaker has linked up with a Pride event. Last month, on the occasion of the country's Pride Month, BMW USA released a similarly styled 8 Series convertible with a Pride theme. For Bentley, the GT symbolizes three key themes: Stolz the diversity of Bentley headquarters in Crewe and around the world, hope and gratitudewhen the business emerges stronger from the COVID 19 crisis, and continued community support. The Rainbow Convertible will be unveiled at Cheshire East's Virtual Pride 2020 event on Saturday, July 25, 2020.
