For many car fans, it is not difficult to fall in love with a Corvette. Each of the eight generations now has its own special charms, and no matter which one you choose, you never really make the wrong choice. For some customers, however, is a standard Corvette not exclusive enoughwhich is why they choose to modify or have their sweetheart modified. The tuning can affect the body or the engine, depending on what special requests the car-loving clientele of the US sports car icon have on their minds. The one we presented today C3 from 1973 is currently owned by Garage Kept Motors in Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA, and has a couple Features which we will go into in more detail.

Third-hand restomod dream.

For a mere 44.900 US dollars, the vehicle will soon change hands, even though the Vette already had two previous owners, but because of the modifications the price seems to be justified. A couple of obvious details like that sidepipes, which not only look extremely cool, but also let the exhaust gases escape unfiltered to the outside, and thus create a monster sound, have been retrofitted, and so have the snow-white paint later found its way onto the Corvette, or the entire vehicle was repainted in the original color. We're not exactly sure about that!

From our point of view, that seems a bit strange cream-colored soft topthat somehow doesn't want to harmonize with the white paintwork. A hard top in white is included in the scope of delivery, which looks more harmonious and gives the vehicle a classic silhouette with a sporty finish. In addition to the two tops, the C3 has polished chrome wheelsthat ensure that the classic looks dynamic and classy. With their low-bed optics, they also go well with the contemporary design of the Restomods. In our opinion this is an ideal vehicle to drive around the American way of drive to enjoy and to cruise comfortably over the country roads at the weekend.

Interior with light brown leather

The cream colored leather is certainly not to everyone's taste, but it makes the vehicle distinctive. We believe that the leather color does not create a perfect symbiosis with the exterior finish, but we respect the choice made by the previous owner. By the way, we like the classic layout of the cockpit, which completely dispenses with modern technology. Thus, when you step in, you immediately feel the spirit of times long past.

454 cu. in. V8 suction gasoline engine

"There is no substitute for displacement - except for even more displacement!“That was the motto in the US automotive industry in the 1970s. The Corvette C3 also follows this motto, because you get one 454 cu. in. large V8 suction gasoline engine who planted on a Four-speed manual transmission has been coupled and drives the rear wheels. Unfortunately, we do not know anything about the exact performance or information on power and torque, but the propulsion should be more than enough, as the C3 does not have a lot of weight.

Our Conclusion for the Corvette C3 Cabriolet from 1973:

With less than 44.500 miles (approx. 71.616 km) that the car has originally run, the Restomod Corvette like new there. We are impressed with the vehicle and believe that the Chevy should definitely be in the hands of collectors.
