The tuning scenes in the Scandinavian countries often offer big surprises. Much underestimated, you can find real tuning treasures in Sweden, Iceland, Norway or Finland that amaze every car and tuning fan. But if you think that these are only Volvo or Saab models, you are wrong! In Finland in particular there are many US cars, which are often heavily modified, and as so-called Restomod projects cause a sensation. But even in Sweden you can find US cars that shine with modifications that you don't expect, especially on American classics. And we would like to introduce you to such a vehicle in more detail. It is a Corvette C4, which is held in JDM style, and the Swedish tuner and car enthusiast Jim Bjork for a trip to the Winterlude.
This Corvette is experiencing its blue wonder!
It's not the case that Jim is mostly into JDM vehicles, as he owned a Corvette C5, Mustang, Camaro, and Dodge Viper, all of which he sold. His passion belongs more to the US automobiles, but he wanted to try out a new combination of tuning and design styles, which is why he designed his C4, which by the way is in the Porsche paintwork Miami Blue is painted a typical JDM Style missed. Curiously, the Corvette was originally delivered to Japan, which is why it is not so unusual at second glance that tuner Jim chose the style to guarantee the Vette a very special appearance.
The front bumper comes from a Nissan, but has been modified and adapted to the Corvette design. They are joined by JDM rims with the name Super Advan Racing SA3E, which are manufactured in a striking three-spoke rotor design, and have a central lock and a white finish with a strong low-bed look. The Wide body kit is inspired by pandemic, but was made in Sweden and also features a striking rear spoiler Ferrari F40 style, originally from a BMW E30 M3 originates, and has been significantly enlarged. Lateral Sproutingthat mimic the Testarossa design also cause a stir, but more or less all of this is an overstimulation that no longer seems harmonious, but sometimes exaggerated.

The C5,7 is powered by a 8 liter V4 naturally aspirated gasoline engine!
The most common thing about the rolling cabinet of curiosities is the drive. A 5,7 liter V8 with a modest 250 horses, which has hardly been modified, provides propulsion in the C4. Just one Chiptuning and an open one Air Filter are installed, which means that the cozy cruiser is far from becoming a serious sports car. The power is transmitted via a Five-speed manual on the rear wheels.
