Corvette C8 with Callaway tuning as "35th Anniversary Edition"

Hard to believe, but since 1987 you can take the Corvette with you Tuning parts order from Callaway. Beginning with the 1987 model year (Corvette C4), there was the "B2K option“ for the vehicle directly from the dealer. The Vette rolled to the customer with a double-charged turbo V8. And now this is B2K package for the 35th anniversary of Callaway also for the Corvette C8 of the 2022 generation available. With this you want to duly celebrate the original. But this time there's no turbo power for the V8, for that one Carbon body kit, a Sports exhaust and a few others Upgrades. The kit was already similar in August 2021 when Callaway C8 Launch Edition announced. So let's start with that bodykit. A filigree one belongs to it front splitter and a set of matching ones too side skirts is in. The rear view is refined with a special rear wing, which has an opening in the middle and has a completely different shape than the original.

And the rear also got a new one rear diffuser, which features a large Callaway emblem in the centre. The emblem is usually chrome-plated, but can also be installed in Carbon Flash Black as an option. The highlight of the changed rear view is clearly the centrally arranged one Sports exhaust. The system features two large, D-shaped tailpipes, which are optionally available in black chrome.

Callaway states that the soundscape with the new system "not harsh, but rather a softer, higher note" generated. In addition, the entire system weighs an impressive 40 pounds (18,14 kilograms) easier than the original and even generates a small additional output that is not explained in detail. There are also forged ones for the B2K package aluminum rims with nine spokes, which consistently fill out the wheel arches in the format 9×19 inches at the front and significantly more powerful 11,5×20 inches at the rear. Here, too, some weight is saved compared to the components ex works. Because the rounds are 26 pounds (11,79 kilograms) compared to the stock wheels easier.

Changes also in the cabin

And the wheelset is even available in five different finishes. You can choose Ceramic polished, black chrome PVD, shiny titanium, Matt black and matte bronze. But that's not all.
