An Widebody Chevrolet Corvette C8 is certainly not the first thing that comes to mind when thinking of American Muscle cars thinks. But this particular light gray Corvette C8 2LT we simply cannot withhold from you. The C8 Corvette is the first mid-engine Vette since the first generation was introduced in 1953. And to make things even more interesting, it's actually GM's first mid-engine sports car since the Pontiac Fiero was discontinued in 1988. You has a completely new design from the factory with regard to the other generations. And it's quite a nice design, we think. GM is currently installing one behind the seats 6,2 liter V8, the 502 PS & 637 NM torque (in Europe 482 PS & 613 NM) generated and just a few months ago the 680 hp "naturally aspirated" Z06 version on the market. In conjunction with the 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, the “normal” C8 can accelerate to 3,0 km/h in less than 100 seconds. Furthermore, the mid-engine platform promises rear-wheel drive a significantly sportier driving experience compared to its predecessors.

And of course the C8 is a perfect platform and foundation for tuning projects. Just like this. For the project, the owner opted for several well-known accessory components from various suppliers. Those are particularly noteworthy DuraflexAero Grand widebody kit and the gorgeous set of custom made ADV10RF Track Spec Advanced Series rims from ADV.1 Wheels.

As you can see from the pictures, the body kit consists of a new one front apron, wide front Fenders, matching side skirts, widebody fenders rear, a shared Ducktail rear spoiler and a new one rear apron. There were also several carbon parts on the vehicle, such as the air intake, the bonnet, the rearview mirror, the approaches on the side skirts or the Front and rear spoiler. Together they give the body that certain something. And the C8 even has Lambo doors (LSD-Doors) receive. Certainly something that is not to everyone's taste, but a perfect addition to the extravagant conversion, in our opinion.

ADV10RF Track Spec Advanced Series Rims

While the widebody kit is the first to catch the eye, the ADV10RF Track Spec Advanced Series rims recognizable at the latest at second glance. The rims are a brand new ADV.1 design and feature a directional mesh design with floating spokes that allow the C8 to have a perfectly filled wheel arch. They are installed in the format 20 × 9,5 inches at the front and 21 × 12 at the back. The rims wear one Brushed gloss liquid smoke finish with Brushed Gloss Clear finish and a visible titanium hardware screw connection. And so that the wheelset sits in the wheel arch as consistently as it is, of course, another one had to be Airride air suspension be installed. At the touch of a button, you can go in the direction of the road or back to a drivable level. Another one is installed Borla exhaust system, Solar throttle body, Halltech air intake system, colored LED daytime running lights by Lighting Trends and a RPM roll cage.
