Have you ever heard of the Japanese tuner / manufacturer "Coutner"? No? No problem, neither have we so far! But for a few weeks now the guys have been drawing attention to themselves with a real classic that we can't withhold from you. It is a BMW E24 6 Series as it rolled off the assembly line from 1975 to 1989. The snow-white presentation vehicle is a 635 CSi sports version with a six-cylinder in-line engine (BMW M30) and 290 PS & 350 NM. Certainly, lovers of classic cars will now clap their hands over their heads and quickly turn the pages. But if you like this conversion, you should have a look at our gallery below. But what does the body kit include? First there is the huge front apron with large air slots and spoilers.

To match the distinctive design, there are powerful bolt-on wheel arch extensions that are built directly onto the body with exposed screw connections. They spread the sporty-elegant coupe extremely and ensure a particularly aggressive appearance. The rear view of the E24 in particular is extremely staged by the extensions. Large air vents gape to the right and left and as an absolute highlight there was a fixed “highrise” rear wing, which can also be called a typical fries counter. Finally, an approach for the rear apron on the right and left and the huge body kit is complete. But all that would be nothing without a lowering and the fantastic wheelset. The lowering enables a KW suspension coilover kit with three-way power-adjustable dampers and a separate expansion tank. And for the wheelset, nothing else came into consideration than classic BBS Motorsport rims. Specifically, the type E88 was built in 18 inches with a huge drop center on the rear axle, as well as a golden rim star and highly polished rim beds that fill the wheel arches with millimeter precision. And the interior of the E24 is also radical.

Everything that caused weight flew out here and as a visual highlight there was a roll cage - painted in the vehicle color - instead of the back seat. The driver and front passenger take their place in spartan bucket seats and are held firmly in the saddle with racing belts. By the way: We received all information about the body kit from "coutner_japan". However, information is also circulating on the internet that the body kit is a Pandem 6666 kit from TRA Kyoto. Whether “coutner_japan” belongs to a pandemic, is produced for it or whatever is related, the Google translator 😉 currently leaves open.
