Does tuning also start with the aluminum rim? For me, yes! 🙂 For many, tuning begins with a lowering or a loud sports exhaust and chip tuning and sometimes extreme engine conversions are for many only the epitome of a tuned car. Why not? But what if we take the trouble and compare the question with a statistic? Then we see in black and white that a good 70% of all vehicle owners who want to tune the aluminum rims (recently more and more often "carbon" rims) of the vehicle are replaced first. Even before the above-mentioned chip tuning or lowering, new rims are the most popular tuning utensil of all, but at the same time often one of the most expensive subsequent changes.

The choice of rims on the Audi A4 B8 Avant

The choice to exchange the rims is understandable in my opinion, because often the rims installed ex works are not always unsightly or even ugly, the problem is that the standard rims are selected in the manufacturer's configurator and that ultimately has thousands of other buyers in this case Audi A4 B8 Avant, also done. In addition, the wheel sets are trimmed in the direction of mainstream optics ex works and of course not very individual because they should ultimately appeal to the general public.

All good reasons for a new and in this case very eye-catching set of rims! What could be more obvious than looking around in the repertoire of Vossen Wheels, which, as is well known, can serve almost any type of vehicle? The owner of this chic metallic gray Audi A4 B8 Avant has "the wheelset project“Accepted among other things and exchanged the standard rims for a Vossen Forged LC-106T wheel set in 20 inches and a mega eye-catching copper look (Copper Penny powder coat). If you look at the selection of rims from Vossen Wheels then it becomes clear to us why it had to be this provider! Vossen only has high quality rims in its range and an appealing selection of designs in stock and especially the LC-106T rim is an absolute eye-catcher, and then in this color!

In addition to the built-in and very well-fitting rims, the A4 Avant has received a large number of other, but rather subtle, changes that we are only aware of from the photos, unfortunately we have not yet had any technical details. No matter the main focus of the car is of course on the LC-106T wheelset which certainly does not miss the standard rims and is an absolute asset to the extremely lowered A4 Avant. The vehicle immediately looks more dynamic and sporty, which is always a plus, and in connection with the Allroad wheel arch extensions, a mighty 20 × 10 inch fit on an A4. We took a closer look at the pictures of the vehicle and made a comparison with the production version and were able to determine one or the other change to the rims.

What we have learned directly from Vossen Wheels and have recognized ourselves, we provide you in a summary as usual below. Should you notice any further changes, we would be happy if you post them in the "comment box", we will then add them to the post as soon as possible.

Ps. If you have more tuned vehicles like this one Audi R8 Coupe or even one Mercedes C63 AMG with Vossen Wheels rims just click on the name of the tuner at the photo hint (below the picture)!
