The CUPRA Born combines a highly developed drive train with a battery management system that guarantees instantaneous performance. In its design there is unmistakably the CUPRA DNA, with which the brand stands out from the competition. The CUPRA Born is the brand's first model to be delivered CO2-neutral (net) to its buyers. This means that energies from renewable sources are used along the supply chain and during raw material production. Emissions from processes that cannot yet be made climate-neutral are offset by environmental and project investments that are certified according to the highest standards.

The CUPRA Born was designed and developed in the main factory in Martorell, Barcelona. The new model will be produced in the German plant in Zwickau from September. The CUPRA Born is an unconventional challenger that delivers electrifying performance with its sophisticated electric drive technology and effortlessly transfers the spirit of the CUPRA brand into an electrified future.

The CUPRA Born is equipped with the most advanced all-electric drive technology. It includes an electric motor with either 110 kW (150 PS) or 204 PS (150 kW), which transfers the electrical energy to the rear wheels. It is coupled to a high-performance lithium-ion battery pack with a capacity of up to 58 kWh, which enables an enormous range of around 420 kilometers *. With the optional e-Boost package, its maximum output increases to 170 kW; In addition, the battery with a higher capacity of up to 77 kWh can be selected to enable a range of around 540 kilometers * and an even longer driving experience.

The CUPRA Born not only shines with its performance, but also with its stylish look. Its stimulating design arouses emotions at first sight and leaves a lasting impression. The strength of the new model is expressed in its more determined face, the striking front section, the refined accents of the lighting design and the distinctive shape of the bonnet. The crowning glory is the characteristic CUPRA emblem on the radiator grille.

Its dynamic character is also continued in the interior. In the tried and tested CUPRA manner, the focus here is on the driver; but that in no way means that the other occupants would not travel with you just as stylishly and comfortably. And all of this with a clear conscience, because emphasis was placed on the use of environmentally friendly materials in the interior.

The CUPRA Born proves that it is possible to convey a sense of sportiness, sophistication and quality while at the same time being careful with the environment. One example is the standard bucket seats made with SEAQUAL fibers from recycled marine plastic. Bucket seats made from DINAMICA, a microfiber fabric obtained from recycled material, are also optionally available. CUPRA's environmental awareness encompasses more than just the energy that powers its vehicles.

Both the special CUPRA steering wheel and the copper-colored accents throughout the vehicle make the CUPRA Born instantly recognizable as part of the brand family.

This high-performance BEV also has a lot to offer digitally: In addition to a state-of-the-art infotainment system, it also enables access to a wide range of online services and apps, a wide range of security and service functions and remote access to the vehicle.

The infotainment system is operated simply and intuitively via the standard, high-resolution 12-inch infotainment touchscreen, which appears to float above the dashboard. Even outside the vehicle, you can stay connected to the CUPRA Born with the newly developed "My CUPRA" app and control important functions remotely.

This includes, among other things, the charging process, which you can conveniently control both on the go and at home. You can always rely on the CUPRA Born, because with its fast charging function, it can be recharged enough in just seven minutes at a 125 kW charging station to cover another 100 kilometers.

In order to meet the requirements of a new generation of drivers and to establish a more efficient and sustainable sales model for the brand, the second strategic pillar of CUPRA is the implementation of a new sales strategy.
