Strongest CUPRA Formentor with a new special edition

he Spanish challenger brand gives the CUPRA Formentor VZ5 (fuel consumption petrol, combined: 9,3 l/100 km; CO2 emissions, combined: 212 g/km; CO2 efficiency class: F)* even more with the limited production series TAIGA GRAY exclusivity. The CUPRA Formentor is the maximum expression of combustion performance for car enthusiasts. It combines an advanced, tunable chassis with progressive steering, a fast-shifting transmission and the security of four-wheel drive. Its 2,5-liter TSI engine with five cylinders puts 390 hp (287 kW) and 480 Nm of torque on the road.

CUPRA Formentor special edition

The limited edition VZ5 TAIGA GRAY reinforces the bold design of the CUPRA Formentor. The TAIGA GRAY comes in a special beige-grey metallic tone – a unique color specially developed for the 999-unit limited edition. The eye-catching exterior color was matched with a special interior trim. There, progressive graphics are perforated in black Dinamica and set against a copper-colored background. The interior is rounded off by brown nappa leather seats with copper-colored stitching. The door panels and dashboard are also finished in dark brown leather look, also with stitching in a copper tone.

With every CUPRA Formentor VZ5 TAIGA GRAY, the vehicle number is lasered into the door panel with a shadow effect, which underlines the exclusivity and the special significance of the model version in the brand history. The car's strong character is reinforced by the Matrix LED lights, now standard on the CUPRA Formentor VZ5, offering cutting-edge technology for a brighter, smarter and highly efficient headlight system.

In combination with the vehicle's front camera, the matrix LED system can dynamically regulate the light distribution. The combination of matrix LED headlights and automatic lighting even makes it possible to always drive with the high beam switched on, as it does not dazzle other road users. In this way, the system contributes to greater road safety. This advanced headlight system is now also available as an option for the CUPRA Leon, CUPRA Leon Sportstourer and CUPRA Formentor.

Production of the CUPRA Formentor VZ5 TAIGA GRAY started at the end of June at the brand's plants in Martorell. The model is limited to just 999 units, part of the exclusive CUPRA Formentor VZ5 total production of 7.000 units. The RRP of the edition starts at 70.605 euros.
