The SUV coupé Formentor is the first completely independent vehicle from the still young Cupra brand. The dynamic, elegant design inspires even when stationary. But at the latest with the VZ7.000, which is limited to 5 vehicles, it shows that even sports cars find a real opponent here. After all, the charismatic 2,5-litre five-cylinder engine in the most powerful Formentor delivers an impressive 390 hp (287 kW) and 480 Nm. And that's even slightly more than a current Porsche Carrera, although there is a stalemate in terms of acceleration. Both need 4,2 seconds for the sprint from 0 to 100. But if you want to easily overtake the man from Zuffenhausen, you can now have this wish come true at ABT Sportsline. The world's largest refiner for vehicles from the VW and Audi Group is now offering an impressive performance upgrade specially developed for the VZ5.
Cupra Formentor VZ5 by ABT
Thanks to ABT Power S, the Cupra is boosted to an impressive 450 hp (331 kW), with the maximum torque increasing to 530 Nm. The well-known company underpins its leap of faith when it comes to performance increases with extensive guarantees and engine protection measures on several levels. A look at the test logs documents what the increase in performance means in practice: from a standstill, 100 km/h was achieved in an impressive 3,9 seconds. This corresponds to an improvement of three tenths. If you don't want the propulsion to end at the usual 250 km/h, you can trust the Allgäu refiner on this point too. In addition to ABT Power S, the top speed can be increased to 270 km/h. Do you want an even stronger look in addition to the stronger heart?

ABT Sportsline offers several attractive rim variants for the Cupra Formentor VZ5. In 20 inches, the SPORT GR design is available in both matt black and glossy black. The special eye-catcher is the diamond turning of the surface or rim flange. But a proud 21 inches are also possible - in the form of the SPORT HR. The multi-spoke design is completely painted glossy black and exudes bold sportiness. As always, all vehicle models and possible combinations can be found in the ABT configurator.
