If you want your BMW i8 to be a particularly striking spoiler without cutting the body straight away, you should be well advised with the extensive body kit from the tuner DarwinPro. The team has developed an extensive aerodynamics package that gives the hybrid a particularly aggressive look. It can be compared to the components of Liberty Walk or Energy Motorsports but can be installed without any major changes to the body. The reason is the missing fender flares all around, which do not make it necessary to cut out the factory fenders. However, it is not a "widebody variant" either. The body kit includes an extensive front spoiler that extends into the area of the main headlights on the right and left. The DarwinPRO BMW i8 BZK spoiler is, like all other components of the body kit, made of high quality carbon and of course perfectly fitting.

It continues with new side skirts and for the rear there is a three-part diffuser set for the apron of the i8. The optical highlight of the rear view is definitely the optional carbon rear spoiler, which is installed as a fixed variant. Also new are the eye-catching fake air intakes for the front fenders, which also do not result in any profound changes to the body. However, they look accordingly ridiculous as we think. In contrast to the other components of the body kit, this accessory should not be used. An i8 doesn't need that. In combination with the body kit, however, further changes are necessary so that everything comes into its own.
Lowering and alus are required
The components from DarwinPRO can be combined with any type of aluminum rims, sports exhaust systems, lowering and even foils. For example, a new set of aluminum rims in combination with a subtle lowering is installed on the exhibition vehicle. And the body has been covered with a striking full chameleon film. Quite a matter of taste, however, should be the wheelset used, which in our opinion is a number too filigree in view of the solid components. In the end, it's all a matter of taste!
