Completely crazy! the Datsun Sunny Pickup from Meguiar's!

Many of you will probably never have seen the Datsun Sunny Pickup, which was available as a flatbed version of the Sunny in the 1970s. This is because it is a vehicle that is rarely seen outside of Japan. In addition, not too many specimens have survived, as the ravages of time gnawed at many and they were used as workhorses until they died. In contrast to the favorites of the JDM scene, who are cherished and cared for by their owners and thus achieve enormous increases in value, many Datsun Sunny pickups have already come to an end in the junkyard. But exceptions prove the rule, and so the Datsun Sunny Pickup we presented got the love it needed and a contemporary tuning from its owner, which is why it is now an eye-catcher, not only at every JDM meeting, but also on the street.

Conversion kit and lowering

The first thing that falls on the unusual pickup is the changed front section on that from a so-called Conversion kit results. The spoke design is somewhat reminiscent of a butterfly or a flower mosaic, and it definitely looks floral.

Other modifications include the placement of the Mirrors on the bonnet, as we know it from classic Japanese automobiles in the luxury segment, such as the first-generation Toyota Century, with a wider flared rear fenderthat convey a sportier look, a Trilink rear axle and Custom front suspension.
