From the tuner ECD Automotive Design In the last few months we have already shown some possibilities (see Gallery below) what you can do with the legendary Defender! There was always a big V8 under the bonnet and the result was rarely less than 400 hp. But on the contrary: The "Project Savage" has shown that even 600 PS can be stuffed into a Defender. And that's exactly what ECD has done again and shows another breathtaking project. But next to the 6.2L LS3 V8 is this time another option to consider as an absolute highlight. This time the base is a Defender 130 Crew Cab. Since we track ECD Automotive this is the first modified Defender of the tuner with cargo area.

The vehicle was created this time under the project name "The Force" which means something like "The Force". And due to the 565 PS strong LS3 V8 which was coupled to a 6-speed automatic transmission and the mighty sounding Borla performance sports exhaust system, ECD does not exaggerate in any case. The vehicle is specially built for off-piste use and, like all the others, has of course been completely restored and put back in the condition of a new car. This time, too, there is a custom front bumper including WARN VR8 Platinum winch and additional LED lights, and of course the popular Heritage Edition Anniversary grille and the new bonnet with power dome should not be missing.

The side section is discreetly set in scene by flared fenders all around and the entire vehicle is protected with an individual black painted roll bar including additional LED headlights at the front and even for the loading area. There was also a new 20 inch wheel set in 9-spoke design in dark gray, of course a completely individual chassis and many small details such as individual running boards, protective panels for the new LED headlights or the full-size spare wheel at the rear. And of course the interior has also been completely redesigned.

There are four gorgeous Corbeau RRS sport seats made of black leather and with contrasting white stitching. And contemporary details such as the JL audio system, a rear-view camera, wireless charging options for smartphones or Wi-Fi in the entire vehicle include. By the way, the fully leather-lined cabin is deliberately equipped with the black / white exterior look. Even the makeshift seats on the loading area are covered with high-quality leather and prove impressively that neither money, effort or lack of ideas played a role here.

Once again, ECD Automotive Design is putting a spectacular vehicle on the road that, if looked after properly, will probably give the proud owner plenty of enjoyment for many decades to come. If we receive timely information on other changes not mentioned before, there is of course as always an update for this report.
