With the F150 series and its alpha animal, the F-150 Raptor, Ford has been supplying the most popular pick-up in the USA for years. In Germany it's not much different, just one size smaller: The Ranger is the best-selling pickup in Germany and the Ranger Raptor, a cool, sporty top model with Baja genes, has just been added to it. But does it really always have to be one size smaller for us? The boys and girls from delta4x4 say “No” and therefore present you the huge delta4x4 Ranger Raptor, next to which most of the other four-wheel drive vehicles in this country look like toy cars. The Bavarian tuning company has exclusively developed a completely new range of accessories for the Ranger Raptor for this grand appearance in both senses of the word. An engine tuning package provides a good increase in power, increasing the engine output from the standard 213 hp to just under 260 hp / 188 kW.

An increase in performance that you can clearly feel and that is also reflected in a torque increase of approx. 150 Nm (to a total of 650 Nm) reflects. So that the delta4x4 pick-up not only cuts a good figure on the boulevard, but is in no way inferior to its big American brothers off-road, the delta4x4 conversion offers lifts of 100 mm (approx. 2.100 euros for the body lift kit) and 40 mm (approx. 600 euros for the spring distance set), which, in combination with the largest possible tires, brings the vehicle to a maximum height of approx. 2.20 meters. This not only means a completely new dimension in ground clearance, but also a unique look. The set of wheels made of 20 × 9,5 inch classic B aluminum rims and Mickey Thompson 35 × 12,5R 20 tires are priced from around 4.900 euros.

The wheel covers are 1.600 euros, the front bar (with EU road approval) is available including PIAA's LED wide-beam spotlights for 1.100 euros. Robust rock sliders are installed for lateral protection in rough terrain, which cost around 600 euros. A version with tires in 40 × 13.5R17 (for the time being only for export) is being examined and will come to approx. 25.000 euros including conversion.
