delta4x4 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon on Cooper Off-Road Tires!

The off-road tuning specialist delta4x4 has one for the American tire manufacturer Cooper Tires Jeep Wrangler Rubicon constructed, with which the US company their Grobstoller Discoverer STT Pro POR tested in the most difficult terrain. The requirements were correspondingly high, after all, the Cooper Tire & Rubber Company is known as one of the best manufacturers of Off-road tires. delta4x4 found the ideal off-road vehicle for such requirements in the Jeep Wrangler, which in the Rubicon version already comes up with the best off-road characteristics in the series trim. But the Unterumbacher have discovered further optimization potential: so that the Rubicon can really get through everywhere, delta4x4 has given it a Suspension lift of 50 millimeters. This suspension kit, specially developed for the Wrangler Rubicon, consists of longer ones Coil springs from Eibach, combined with Bilstein dampers.

In addition, the Discoverer STT Pro POR in the impressive format of 35 x 12,5 R 20 on the Classic B rim assembled by delta4x4. The extreme off-road tire from Cooper Tire is specially designed for off-road use and has already proven its performance at the Dakar Rally. Its Armor-tek³ carcass construction provides the necessary robustness, while the profile, which extends deep into the sidewall, optimizes traction on soft ground and gives the tire additional "bite" when climbing on rocky terrain. Also designed for the toughest off-road use is the Classic B rim by delta4x4. It has a replaceable ring as collision protection, which absorbs the energy from off-road contact and thus protects the rim from damage - the ring itself can be replaced easily and inexpensively. Finally, delta4x4 also has the test wrangler with a complete set PIAA auxiliary headlights equipped, which not only turn night into day at the Dakar.

extensive test program completed

In the meantime, the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon built by delta4x4 with the Discoverer STT Pro tires has mastered an extensive test program: the Swabian Alp was put under the wheels as well as the old smugglers' paths between Spain and Andorra. The Pic Negre - with one of the highest off-road slopes in Europe - was also on the test program, as was the Julian Alps in Slovenia. Finally, the Wrangler Rubicon was tormented for three days through the course of the "Adventure All-wheel Drive" trade fair. The clear conclusion: Thanks to its ultra-hard sidewall and 3D profile, the tire is almost indestructible and reaches its destination in all conditions. After this demanding endurance test, the Cooper Discoverer STT Pro POR can adorn itself with the title "officially delta4x4 approved".
