delta4x4 / Rolls-Royce Cullinan Off Road - the Rolls for the rough!

In the past, the off-road experts from delta4x4 have taken many off-road vehicles and SUVs to the next level, not just in terms of looks, but above all in terms of off-road capability. So it's hardly surprising when a high-end SUV like the Rolls-Royce Cullinan caught the attention of the experienced technicians from Unterumbach in Bavaria. Many months of work were invested in the English aristocrat's conversion plans before the first inquiry came from a prospective buyer from the Arabian Peninsula. The conversion of such a rolling icon for the price of a condominium is of course also an exciting challenge, because on the one hand it has to be stylish and functional at the same time, but on the other hand it also has to show perfect craftsmanship. Anything else would hardly do justice to the base vehicle.

But how does a luxurious SUV become a convincing off-road vehicle? First of all, you need more ground clearance, which is best achieved by a larger one wheelset in combination with an Höherlegung can reach. This includes tires that develop maximum grip even on sand, mud or snow. For a real expedition vehicle, you also need a solid one roof rack, the sand sheets, sand shovels, water canisters, various boxes and, if necessary, above all, a Rooftent can record. A Frontguard also protects the sensitive parts of the vehicle, such as the cooling systems. Both the roof rack and the front bar are the perfect carriers for additional lighting systems. The Japanese ones used by delta4x4 for more than 30 years PIAA headlights are pretty much the most solid thing you can buy on the market. Tested for vibrations up to four times the acceleration due to gravity, they have been leading the world's top rally and racing vehicles to the finish line for decades.

Other options are usually a snorkel system for the passage of deep water as well as a stable one Underbody protection. This includes a protected one exhaust system, which also ensures higher performance and a nicer sound through fewer pass restrictions. For the Cullinan this means in detail: 20 inch delta force than Real beadlock rims are thick with 33 inches (0,84 m) Tubes by Mickey Thompson and cost around 15.000 euros for the complete set. To accommodate these massive wheels, delta4x4 develops new ones Wheel arch extensions, which cost around 14.000 euros. One Höherlegung of at least 80 mm is available for 15.000 euros and together with the large wheelset it ensures that the vehicle as a whole approx. 150 mm higher builds.

The rally-worthy headlights from PIAA can be switched either as a work light or as an additional high beam and are comparatively cheap at around 2500 euros. the roof rack, which is of course designed for the high loads and shocks of an off-road expedition, can be obtained from delta8000x4 from 4 euros.
