More sound and curve dynamics in the ABT Audi RS6 Avant!

Away from the mighty RS6-R with 740 hp ABT Sportsline also has one fewer Extensive upgrade for the current generation C6 Audi RS8 at the start. Namely different suspension options, various rims and an exhaust system with orchestral sound. Suitable for the RS6, which with 600 PS (441 kW) and 800 Nm is already incredibly fast ex works. And so that you can also hear the BiTurbo-V8, ABT now has a new silencer system in its range. A system with four parallel flow tubes, the volume of which regulate two electrically adjustable exhaust flaps. In combination with the ABT Power to 2020 HP (700 kW) and 515 Nm torque, or the 800 HP (740 kW) and 544 Nm version of the RS920-R mentioned at the beginning, the potent Avant finally sounds like he looks.

Rear and middle silencers

The sports exhaust system is of course suitable for vehicles with series performance or with additional power. The system consists of a rear and middle silencer and is of course made of stainless steel. Visually there are tailpipe trims in matt carbon fiber, which have a generous diameter of 102 millimeters and are embedded in specially developed ABT tailpipe manholes. But ABT can also provide additional driving fun in terms of lateral dynamics. Using ABT Coil springs or the threaded sport suspension of the Varainte 4 from the manufacturer KW in stainless steel. The latter allows a variable lowering of 10-35 mm on the front and 10-40 mm on the rear axle and is of course adjustable separately in rebound and compression. And the pressure level can even be adjusted separately for the high and low speed range. With additional or individually orderable ABT sport stabilizers for the front and rear axles, the changes to the chassis are rounded off.

The stabilizers improve handling by reducing the tendency to curl and reduce the tendency to understeer. However, this does not change the driving comfort with double-sided deflection. And last but not least, the 22-inch ABT High Performance HR22 flowforming rims mounted on the photo vehicle set a skillful eye-catcher on the RS6. Of course, other light alloy wheel options are also available for the Pampers bomber. The ABT configurator also shows accessories for the interior. For example, a start-stop switch cap or door entry lighting with the tuner's logo. If we receive timely information on further changes from ABT for the RS6, there is of course an update for this report. You will be informed if you simply use ours Feed subscribe to.
