Dinan Software Upgrade Stage 1 for S63 Engines!

For owners of a BMW F90 M5 who are looking for an increase in performance, the BMW tuner Dinan now has a Stage 1 kit at the start. The pure software solution costs $799,95 and is suitable for vehicles from 2018 to 2020 including the competition version. But not only that. The software is specially designed for the S63 V8 BiTurbo. So it also fits in the X5 M, X6 M and the M8 if the vehicles are from the mentioned period. Dinan states that with it up to An additional 130 hp and 270 NM are possible if you fill up with 93 octane fuel. The software also brings performance increases for 91, 100 and 104 octane fuel (USA). For this purpose, the electronic limitation of the maximum speed is removed and the characteristic curve of the accelerator pedal is adjusted. At the same time, the tuner states that the "reliability of the engine is maintained" and that all factory safety precautions continue to function.

It even adds additional protections to prevent the S63 from malfunctioning. Since this is a pure software upgrade, no additional parts need to be installed. As for a performance upgrade for 2021+ vehicles, Dinan doesn't yet know when something will be available. They are still working on decoding the BMW software.
