When BMW presented the M2005 E5 with a high-revving V60 engine and 10 kW / 373 hp in 507, it was clear that this M5 is a very special one. A naturally aspirated V8.250 engine with 10 revolutions per minute in a mid-range sedan was and is an absolutely unique selling point compared to the competition from the Mercedes E55 AMG or the Audi RS6. Both opponents were driven much less spectacularly by means of charged V8 technology and were never on the level of the M5 in terms of light-footedness. Visually, too, the M5 was clearly distinguishable from the production model, although not as extreme as the RS6 at the time, for example. Regardless of whether two chrome-plated twin tailpipes in the M rear apron at the rear, M side mirrors or the elegant 19-inch light alloy rims in M design, the connoisseur knew immediately that there was an M5 here. We discovered just such an M5 as a tuned variant and of course we want to present it to you. The good thing about this vehicle is the fact that it was not refined by a special tuner but by a private screwdriver whose passion & hobby is clearly dedicated to his M5 and the topic of "tuning". We don't personally know the owner named "Randy", the team at Performance Technic Inc.

It goes without saying that Randy is not working on the M5 in his garage at home, even with such a vehicle there is usually at least one workshop in the background that has made the changes! On the contrary, parts from a wide range of suppliers such as iND or Dinan and Evolve were installed in this vehicle and that ensures that in the end a car is in front of us that is unique and with such individual tuning is certainly not to be found a second time. Personally, I like these conversions best because with such vehicles the owners can let their thoughts run free and often their own work can be found on the body or the interior.
