A few days ago, the German team around DMC tuning the STAGE1 package "velocita“Presented for the McLaren 720s. Of course we would like to show you the refined British super sports car and already have the first pictures. The aerodynamic parts are pretty much the opposite of Novitec N-Largo Widebody or the variant of Mansory, For DMC, the focus was not on the 720s to miss a completely new look, but rather to improve the aerodynamics without disfiguring the original design. And that's pretty well done as we think. The body kit shows with a subtle two-piece front spoiler and optionally it is also possible to replace the factory-made grille with a variant made of carbon in OEM look.

The side part of the 720 is emphasized by subtle side sills in the area of the side walls and there are also changes at the rear. Here, DMC developed an aggressive diffuser and also the middle part of the bumper is replaced by a variant in the noble carbon fiber on request. It continues with an engine cover made of carbon and the visual highlight is the carbon duck tail rear wing is fitted to the original mounting points. The active function of the spoiler is retained and so the 720s can continue to angle or lower the wing during braking or on the racetrack.
Forged wheels in the format 20 & 21 inches
And really nice are the aluminum wheels mounted here in shiny black. The ultra-light forged rim comes in the format 9,5 x 20 inches on the front axle and fills the rear axle with mighty 11 x 21 inches perfectly. Equipped is the new wheel set with Pirelli low profile tires in the dimensions 245 / 30 ZR20 and 305 / 25 ZR21 which were stuck to the presentation vehicle with white P Zero tire stickers. And even under the bonnet something is on demand. Here DMC has an in-house chip tuning as well as a sports exhaust system with flap function and polished stainless steel tailpipes in stock.
Performance increase and sport exhaust system
The system is alternatively available with sports catalytic converters and provides an increase in performance to 755 hp and 780 Nm. This improves the acceleration to 100 km / h by 0,1 seconds to 2,8 seconds. In our opinion, the DMC "Velocita" carbon body kit is one of the best ways to refine the 720s without overshooting the target. Well done DMC!
