In the spring of this year, the American tuner Hennessey performance snatched a brand new and strictly limited Dodge Demon widebody and announcesthat this specimen will soon come out on the road with HPE1200 kit and consequently good 1.200 PS. However, one had already one year before HPE1500 announced that it has not yet made it to reality. In May of this year, however, there was a first sign of life on the part of Hennessey and the subject Dodge Demon because officially presented with a Dragrace the HPE1000 kit. As the name suggests, this kit provides a good 1.000 hp in the Demon and also ensures that the quarter mile is completed after just 9,14 seconds at a top speed of 152,59 mph.
crazy HPE1200 upgrade
And now it seems to be a step further and is getting closer to the 1200 setup with the HPE1500 upgrade. Hennessey Performance lets the demon run free on a Dynojet and in the end the Ami presses an incredible 1.013 PS & 1.293 NM on the role. The values are probably measured "on the WHEEL" which means that a good 15% is added if you want to determine the exact engine power. In order to achieve the significant additional performance, a larger compressor system, changes to the exhaust system and the hardware of the engine and of course individual chip tuning to coordinate the changed components are required.
