Driven by the proven 6,2 liter HEMI Hellcat V8 compressor with 719 PS & 654 NM (710 HP & 645 lb.-ft.) the Durango SRT Hellcat accelerates from 3,5 to 0 miles per hour (approx. 60 km / h) in just 97 seconds and completes the quarter mile in just 11,5 seconds. The top speed is 180 miles per hour (approx. 290 km / h).

The Hellcat with 719 hp is the most powerful SUV ever and also puts a Lamborghini Urus in the shade. It is the last piece of the puzzle and, in addition to the Charger and Challenger, completes the Dodge brand performance vehicles. In addition to the SRT Hellcat, the entire Durango range received a new aggressive design for 2021, a new interior with a cockpit inspired by the Challenger and a 5 x faster Uconnect 5 system with a 10,1 inch (approx. 26 cm) screen and touchscreen. And according to Dodge, no SUV in the world currently scores with a faster quarter mile. By the way, orders for the normal Durango will be accepted this summer and the first vehicles are expected to arrive at the Dodge // SRT dealers from autumn. Orders for the SRT Hellcat will be accepted from autumn and the first vehicles will arrive at dealerships in early 2021.

The top model, like the Charger and Challenger, receives the eight-speed TorqueFlite 8HP95 automatic and also the new front panel with spoiler, the bonnet with a large central air opening, the small rear spoiler and the sporty aggressive diffuser in the apron are unmistakable Hellcat details. The Durango SRT Hellcat for 2021 has an improved chassis with better handling in track mode, which should allow significantly more stability when cornering. As standard, there is an electric power steering (EPS) with selectable tuning and many racing-inspired technologies such as automatic start control, a start assistant but also important components such as the massive Brembo brake system with 6-piston and two-part discs at the front and 4-piston calipers with internally ventilated Rear windows. The result: The Durango SRT Hellcat accelerates from 0-60 miles an hour (approx. 97 km / h) in just 3,5 seconds and covers the quarter mile in 11,5 seconds. As already mentioned, the top speed is a mighty 180 miles per hour (approx. 290 km / h).

Incidentally, the exhaust system of the Durango SRT Hellcat has been tuned to deliver the throaty, aggressive sound that lets fans know immediately that this muscle car is something very special. And that is also evident in the interior. The new interior combines uncompromising benefits with advanced technology and aggressive design. There is a newly designed driver-centered cockpit, a new instrument panel and a classy center console with a 10,1-inch touchscreen that is tilted 7 degrees to the driver. The new flattened performance steering wheel and standard paddle shifters that even have an illuminated SRT logo catch the eye. With regard to the paintwork, interested parties can choose from 11 colors and, on request, there are also sporty stripes over the body as carried by the photo vehicle. We are looking forward to first comparisons with the Trackhawk but also with the German competition and of course the Urus from Lamborghini.
