We are sure that Dodge with the new 2019 Ram 1500 Pickup a great success has been achieved. The only thing that is even better is the “Ram 3500 Heavy Duty”, which can pull almost 400 tons with its 6,7 hp 16 liter diesel. The unbelievable 1.356 Nm torque at just 1.800 revs is made possible by the new six-speed box from Aisin sent to the drives of the two axes. But even the small RAM 1500 Crew Cab certainly doesn't have to hide. And while in Amiland you can even fall back on a 305 hp 3,6-liter V6 with “normal RAM”, in this country we only have to accept the large 5,7-liter V8. The 401 PS & 556 NM are at least as convincing, but in times of fuel saving and eco-balance, the V6 would also be welcome in this country. And especially this variant from the graphic artist Hugo Silva Designs.

That is because he has grabbed the fifth generation of the Ram 1500 pickup and equipped it with a brutal lowering and a body kit. The very successful front is now adorned with a new front apron with lots of chrome and large air inlets and it has been significantly widened on both sides. The reason is the redesigned and extremely wide fenders with striking wheel arch extensions that give the RAM at least 10 cm additional vehicle width on each side. In addition, there is a huge rear in the style of the Ram 3500 Heavy Duty which, as a counterpart to the Chevrolet Silverado 3500, the Ford F-350 / F-450 or the GMC Sierra 3500, is the king of the RAM series. The virtual variant, with its slightly more angular rear widening - in our opinion - looks a bit more successful.

The reason is of course the shorter wheelbase of the 1500, which makes the Ram look more compact. And something has also happened at the rear. There is a new apron with integrated square tailpipes on the right and left and the taillights also have a different design. Another highlight is definitely the brutal lowering. Such a huge lowering is definitely only possible with an Airride air suspension and there were also approx. 23 inch multi-part aluminum rims with a polished rim base and a matt black rim star. Behind it is a sports brake system with large perforated brake discs and red brake calipers and now only one tuner is needed to turn the 2019 Ram 1500 widebody pickup with Airride air suspension from Hugo Silva into reality.
