The Team of DTE Systems GmbH has now also tested the PowerControl RX power electronics and the PedalBox + accelerator pedal tuning in the M5 Competition. As is well known, the 4,4-liter twin-turbo V8 of the Competition makes 625 PS & 750 Nm, and thus 25 PS more than the "normal" M5. The DTE performance increase now raises the performance of the M5 to a massive 706 hp and 889 Nm. The PowerControl RX Unit causes an additional +81 PS and +139 Nm which is an announcement. Of course, the right smartphone control system PowerControl app is also included for the Competition and the PedalBox app is also available free of charge in the App Store and Google Play.
