Clearly - 300 PS in the DTE system BMW 5er (2017) 530d

In June this year, BMW presented the fifth generation of the Bayern 5 Series Touring station wagon with the G30 / G31 code. And the DTE Systems team has already buttoned up the first copy. The chic all-rounder in the form of the 530d, with 258 HP & 620 NM strong N57D30 engine, got a load of extra power and thus approaches the 320 PS strong 540d xDrive. The extra power comes from the well-known DTE PowerControl system that is quickly installed and provides additional +38 PS and +100 Nm torque.

This brings a big grin, especially on country roads and highways. If you take the opponents in series condition, the Mercedes E-Class T-Model (258 PS) and also the more powerful, but also smaller, Audi A4 Avant (272 PS) clearly lose out. Even in the low engine speed range, the DTE 5 Series Touring is much more powerful and energetic. Optionally, the increase in performance can be supported with the DTE accelerator pedal tuning, which ensures a significantly reduced reaction time of the turbo diesel.
