Hennessey lays on that Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat HPE900 one more thing and finally brings the announced HPE1000 package at the start. And that will be as always on the Pennzoil Proving Grounds Tried extensively. And the "Hyper-SUV" (we find this new name extremely appropriate) shows absolutely breathtaking acceleration values. And that as HPE1000 kit titled Compressor Upgrade even allows in this vehicle more than 1.000 PS. The SUV was measured with crazy people 1.012 PS at 6.500 rpm and insane 1.314 Nm torque at 4.200 rpm. That puts the standard Bugatti Veyron in the shade. So equipped, it goes from 0 to 60 mph (0-96 km / h) in under 3 seconds (approx. 2,8 sec.).
HPE1000-Durango - only 50 vehicles
But especially the Draft at higher speeds is breathtaking and comparable to that of a thoroughbred super athlete. But you should never forget that you are in a living room on wheels over 2,5 tons empty weight sits. The changes include that improved Compressor systems with new pulleys, different belts, new spark plugs, new injection nozzles, a special air filter system, special software and other minor changes, including new fluids. Visually, however, the conversion remains - typical Hennessy - return. Since the upgrade is limited to 50 vehicles, there are a few "X of 50" badges and HPE1000 emblems.
