After the guys from ECD Automotive Design (England, Midlands, about 60 kilometers from the famous Lode Lane factory) a true to the original a year ago Range Rover Classic as TWR Edition presented it was now the turn of another copy. So this time 2020 doesn't start with a Defender for ECD! But with a vehicle that devoured an incredible 2.200 working hours. And the process was so laborious, especially because of the extensive restoration of the Landis. The Range Rover Classic County LWB (Long Wheelbase) was completely gutted as part of the intensive "Luxury Design Experience" by ECD and brought almost to the state of a new car. And like every vehicle from ECD Automotive, the motto was "Restomod".
6.2L L92 V8 engine
The old body should therefore have the latest components. And the 408 hp 6.2L L92 V8 engine from the Chevrolet Corvette, which was stuffed under the bonnet and can make itself audible with the Borla sports exhaust system, is particularly current. And they are particularly proud that the engine complies with all emissions regulations in the USA and is particularly harmonious to drive with the built-in 6-speed automatic. This time, the suspension is based on an individual air suspension from ECD and the power is transmitted using 18-inch Kahn Defend 1983 rims in matt black, which were fitted with Continental CrossContact tires in the format 255 / 55R18. Countless details such as the LED main headlights, the modern taillights or the alpine white paintwork with the many glossy black details round off the visual appearance in an outstanding way.

And the interior is at least as spectacular as the exterior. Here you rely on a Torino salsa leather interior in bright red, which, in combination with lots of black accents, creates a feel-good atmosphere. In technical terms, for example, there were Dakota digital displays, a new sound system was installed and the elegant precious wood inlays were also refurbished. The vehicle is by the way under the project name "Gunn"And of course again exclusively in consultation with the customer who provided the Range commissioned.
