Electric MINI in JCW outfit: Dragoon rims on the OCTANEFACTORY-Cooper SE

Electric cars and tuning, somehow they don't go together. At least that's the common view. Many petrolheads are really reluctant to use electrified vehicles. This MINI, for example, impressively proves that the assumed unsuitability for tuning is in many respects just a false prejudice. This is because - although it is hard to believe at first glance - it is actually a copy of the all-electric Cooper SE! The spectacular conversion is the result of a cooperation between OCTANEFACTORY, a company from the Ruhr area that specializes in tuning MINIs, with Barracuda Racing Wheels.

As a result, the e-mobile was of course placed on a set of equally high-quality and weight-optimized Flowforged alloy wheels from Barracuda's Ultralight Series: The brand new Dragoon wheels in the dimensions 8,5 × 19 inches with 225 / 35ZR19 tires sit in the fenders. They were entered in the vehicle documents via special acceptance on the strength. The additional lowering is due to a KW variant 3 coilover kit.

In addition, the OCTANEFACTORY carried out an extensive conversion of the body, thanks to which the car now really bears the face of the top John Cooper Works athlete. The front is enhanced by a 3D design front spoiler, at the rear there is a JCW Pro diffuser, a large RSIc6 spoiler and Union Jack taillights from the JCW GP3. The side indicators have also been modified. Last but not least, an absolute eye-catcher is of course the complete design foil including the name of the owner on the roof.

Leather steering wheel with forged carbon covers

Last but not least, the interior has even been completely redesigned: The driver reaches into a new leather steering wheel with forged carbon covers and takes a seat in Recaro Sportster CS seats together with his co-driver. More occupants can then no longer travel because the rear seats have been removed. Instead of this, there is now not only a level floor in the rear and rear, but also a chic Wiechers club sports bar to marvel at.
