In the last few weeks we have had the 5-spoke wheel "VWS-3" from Vossen Wheels, with more extensive and very noticeable modifications like one Porsche 911 (997) Turbo or even that Liberty Walk Nissan GT-R brought. But that this wheel set is not only suitable for shrill tuning projects, as the American wheel label Vossen Wheels showed us last weekend in the form of an Audi A4 B8 Allroad Avant which also received a VWS-3 wheel set. Although the A4 has an additional Thule roof rack and all-round tinted windows, we would definitely not describe the A4 as extremely modified. But even without extensive aerodynamic parts or a shrill foiling, this combination looks absolutely perfect and even with the new wheel set, the Allroad should continue to serve its purpose as an off-road Avant variant. There isn't much more to say about the car so we leave it with the pictures. If we get more information on other details, there will of course, as always, be an update for this report. These are the changes to the Audi A4 B8 Allroad:
- Vossen Wheels VWS-3 wheelset (polished & black)
- Thule roof rack
- Audi emblem removed at the rear
- Audi emblem in front in black
- darkened / tinted windows all around
- possibly a performance increase - (chip tuning, tuning box, compressor or turbo conversion, NOS etc. - more information is not available)
- possibly a sports exhaust system (more information is not available)
