Innovative solutions and the famous power of Tesla electric cars have become legendary. In addition to its drive concept, the Tesla S is particularly fascinating with its longitudinal dynamic qualities, but what about the sporty genes of the premium model? "There is more" say the H&R engineers and once again demonstrate their development expertise with the now available sport spring set. Because the Tesla S is not just any car: The low center of gravity due to the power storage in the vehicle floor, constant recuperation, brute torque and enormous acceleration values require the use of high-strength spring wires and a progressive design with an adequate spring rate.
30 millimeters deeper with sport springs
The result is not only impressive, it can also be experienced! After the suspension refinement, the wide light-alloy wheels of the Stromer are 30 millimeters lower in the wheel arches and make the Tesla S look even sportier when stationary. On the technical results side there is a more dynamic steering behavior and a reduced lateral inclination in the event of abrupt load changes or in fast corners. "By the way", the CW value of the body also drops due to the lower ground clearance and even the eco-concept benefits from the measure. But that's not all: For the millimeter-precise alignment of standard and retrofit wheels on the wheel house edges, "Trak +" wheel spacers will be available shortly.
