More space, more go-kart feeling, more comfort, more individuality: with the Estate Edition for the MINI Clubman and the MINI Countryman, you can enjoy the unmistakable style of a premium automobile from the British brand at the highest level. Generous and versatile space in the interior has always been one of the core features of the two models in the premium compact segment. The MINI Estate Edition now combines this plus in interior space compared to the brand's small car models with exclusive design features and equipment that leaves nothing to be desired in the areas of sportiness, comfort, driver assistance and connectivity. The edition vehicles specially designed for the German automotive market will be available in limited editions from summer this year.

2021 Estate Edition MINI

Expressive design elements, the John Cooper Works Trim equipment package, the Driver Assistance Package Plus, the Comfort Package Plus, the MINI Connected Package Plus and numerous other options make the edition vehicles of the MINI Clubman and the MINI Countryman extraordinarily attractive and distinctive rarities. As a MINI Estate Edition, only 150 units of the MINI Clubman and 250 units of the MINI Countryman will be produced.

The combination of the model names MINI Clubman and MINI Countryman with the addition of Estate reflects a traditional concept that has already given the classic Mini more space, comfort and style. Just a few months after production started in 3,05, the originally just 1959 meter long small car was accompanied by a body variant with an extended wheelbase, which was offered either as a Morris Mini Traveler or an Austin Seven Countryman. And in 1969 a Mini Clubman came onto the market for the first time - eleven centimeters longer than the original, with a newly designed front and modified equipment. Under the name Mini Clubman Estate, the sister model was also available with an extended wheelbase and correspondingly more interior space.

MINI Clubman and MINI Countryman

The Estate Edition for the current MINI Clubman and MINI Countryman models is now transferring the principle of deliberately expanded product substance to the premium compact segment and into the 21st century. The spacious interior of the MINI Clubman and MINI Countryman is complemented by an exclusive appearance and particularly high-quality equipment. The edition vehicles thus convey sporty elegance and that characteristic MINI feeling at the highest level.

The body paintwork in the variant MINI Yours Enigmatic Black metallic and 19-inch John Cooper Works light alloy wheels in the Circuit Spoke 2-tone design, which are supplemented by edition-specific design elements for the exterior, contribute to the unmistakable appearance. The stylized "ESTATE" lettering on the side scuttles and the door sills, as well as the emblem created for the edition on the C-pillars of the vehicles, has a subtle diamond pattern in the design that creates a special depth effect through the combination of matt and glossy surfaces . In addition, with the exclusive side stripes, a design feature of the classic Mini Clubman Estate is taken up, the generous outer length of which was additionally emphasized by horizontal double lines on the body flanks.

The exclusive highlights of the edition models are combined with the John Cooper Works Trim equipment package, which includes an aerodynamic kit and the trim elements of the Piano Black exterior option, as well as a sporty chassis set-up. In the interior, too, the edition vehicles offer a significant increase in driving fun, comfort and exclusive style thanks to specific equipment features of the MINI Estate Edition. The sports seats in Chester Satellite Gray leather are supplemented by an electrically operated seat adjustment including a memory function on the driver's side. The anthracite-colored headliner, the lighting package, the MINI Driving Modes and the MINI Excitement package are joined by the panorama glass roof, the sun protection glazing and the Chrome Line interior. The Nappa sports leather steering wheel has an edition emblem, and the “ESTATE” lettering adorns the interior surface in Piano Black.

The extraordinarily extensive equipment of the edition vehicles is not yet complete. Also on board is the Comfort Package Plus, which includes, among other things, a 2-zone automatic air conditioning, a storage package, electrically adjustable and folding exterior mirrors, convenience access and seat and steering wheel heating. There is also the Driver Assistance Package Plus including Active Cruise Control, Driving Assistant, Park Distance Control, reversing camera and parking assistant. The MINI Connected Package Plus also ensures intelligent networking at the top level with a multifunctional instrument display, a navigation system, a head-up display, telephony with wireless charging, smartphone integration with Apple CarPlay and numerous digital services, including the Amazon Alexa voice assistant, remote services and real time traffic information.

Equipment scope with adaptive LED headlights

Additional options included in the equipment of the edition models include adaptive LED headlights, the vision package with heated windscreen and an alarm system. For the MINI Countryman, the Estate Edition also includes black roof rails, automatic tailgate operation, the picnic bench and a center armrest in the rear.

Two petrol engines in the Cooper and Cooper S versions are available for the MINI Clubman and the MINI Countryman in the Estate Edition. The only exceptions are the respective entry-level engines, the diesel engines, the John Cooper Works models and the plug-in hybrid version of the MINI Countryman.
