+600 PS & CSL details: Evolve BMW M4 (G82) in Mint Green!

A BMW M4 with a new look and improved technology? The team from had it at the Essen Motor Show 2022 Evolve included. And especially when it came to looks, the sports coupé didn't have to hide. The Evolve M4 Coupé (G82) was presented with an individual paint finish in mint green with the color code W97. But what was under the bonnet particularly attracted the fans of the trade fair. Because there slumbered over 600 hp. In combination with the factory-fitted all-wheel drive M xDrive, this of course ensures impressive driving performance not only in the discipline of intermediate sprints, but also significantly improves acceleration from a standing start.

+600 hp & CSL details

But for now back to the optics! The Evolve M4 Coupé (G82) had not only the eye-catching paintwork (foiling) in Mint Green to offer even more to the eye. In any case, this included the yellow daytime running lights and the taillights, which not only coincidentally reminded of the M4 CSL. Another highlight was the new kidney grille with only three cross braces. And for us the absolute eye-catcher was the bonnet from Alpha N Performance. It continued with beautiful 21-inch rims in touring design from 6Sixty with a white finish. These set an interesting accent to the Mint Green paintwork.

And now to the technique! The Evolve M2022 Coupé (G4) presented at the Essen Motor Show 82 already had 529 hp ex works instead of the specified 510 hp. On the Roller dynamometer but it was probably not even possible to determine the full potential. And with the completed Stage 1 Software Customization the Evolve-M4 came up with 580 hp with the same measurement technology. With regard to the intermediate sprint from 100 to 200 km/h, the tuner determined a time of just under 7 seconds and the quarter mile creates the M4 in 10,72 seconds. Country road speed was probably reached after measured 2,9 seconds.

with hardware changes

But since the last measurement there have also been some hardware adjustments, but unfortunately no new performance measurement since then. However, it can be assumed that the 600 hp mark will be exceeded. We appreciate that the incorporation of the Catless down pipes, from the air intake (Air Intake System) from Eventuri, the Supersprint sports exhaust system and the level 2 ECU tuning easily bring the engine to the range of 630 hp or even more. Because at least the intermediate sprint from 100 to 200 km/h has already been measured with less than 6 seconds. If we get more information, there is of course an update for this report.
